Color Palette Characteristics
This distinctive five-color system represents Rocheston’s innovation in bringing vibrant, AI-era visual design to the cybersecurity and technology education sectors. The palette provides full spectrum coverage, high saturation, harmonious color relationships, optimal contrast, a professional yet approachable tone, and an AI-native visual language. This palette distinguishes Rocheston in an industry traditionally dominated by corporate blues, grays, and monochrome design.

Protected Trade Dress Components
Rocheston’s trade dress protection covers the combination, sequencing, and consistent application of these colors within user interfaces, documents, learning platforms, marketing visuals, and operating systems including ZombieCop.Run, RCCE, RCAI, RCCI, Rose X, and AINA OS.

Protected patterns include:

Color-blocked layouts and full-spectrum gradients (PinkPurpleYellowCyanGreen)
Rainbow progress bars and multi-color dashboards
Character-driven educational visuals on dark backgrounds
AI-driven UI/UX design patterns with high contrast vibrant colors
Consistent overall “look and feel” across all Rocheston properties

This aesthetic is non-functional and purely source-identifying.

SECTION 2 — LEGAL FRAMEWORK AND STANDARDS

Protection Basis
United States: Lanham Act §43(a) and common law trade dress rights
International: Paris and Berne Conventions, TRIPS Agreement, EU and Commonwealth IP laws

Trade Dress Requirements Satisfied

1. Distinctiveness — unique in cybersecurity and AI education
2. Non-functionality — purely aesthetic, not utilitarian
3. Secondary meaning — consumers associate the look with Rocheston through consistent and public use

Supporting Legal Precedents
Qualitex v. Jacobson (1995), Tiffany Blue, T-Mobile Magenta, UPS Brown, Cadbury Purple, and other color-based trade dress rulings.

SECTION 3 — APPLICATIONS AND PUBLIC EVIDENCE

The five-color palette serves as Rocheston’s unified identity across:

Training platforms: ZombieCop.Run, RCCE, RCAI, RCCI, RCCOO
Operating systems: Rose X, AINA OS
Community programs: Cybersecurity for Women (CFW)
Documentation and certification assets
Marketing visuals, websites, presentations, and social campaigns

Public Documentation and Priority
Priority Date: October 12, 2025
